Abuse Prevention Training
It is the policy of Heritage Park Alliance Church to provide a consistently safe environment for children, youth and vulnerable adults and to maintain a zero tolerance for any abuse, harassment or neglect perpetrated by a church employee, officer, volunteer, member or adherent.
The purpose of this policy is to:
- Prevent harm to the children, youth and vulnerable adults in our programs.
- Protect our staff and volunteers from false or wrongful allegations.
For this reason, volunteers in the following ministries are required to read the sections of this manual that pertain to their ministry and to take and submit the tests corresponding to those sections, as set out below:
