WOMEN’S MINISTRY AT HPAC

Purpose Statement:
The women’s ministry at Heritage seeks to build healthy, loving relationships among women that will encourage every woman in our church family to become a fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ.

Women's Retreat
We offer a Women's Retreat every two years.  This provides our women with an opportunity to get away from the busyness of every day life and rest in God's presence for a weekend.  Great worship, teaching and fellowship for all.  Our next retreat will take place in the spring of 2012.  To view photos of our May, 2010 Retreat held at Guelph Bible Conference Centre, click here

Mothers of Preschoolers (M.O.P.S.)
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. MOPS exists to meet the needs of every mom - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - moms with different lifestyles who all share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be! MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy to kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.  MOPS is a safe place where moms can get together, discover they are not alone in the struggles of raising preschool children, and build strong friendships that will last a lifetime!  Currently MOPS meet every other Wednesday to enjoy special speakers, crafts, and socializing while their children are lovingly cared for in our MOPPETS program. Please contact Amanda Abbott (
aeagabbott@cogeco.ca) or (519-970-9560) if you have any questions.  For further information and a calendar of events www.hpacmops.org

Soul Sisters:

This is a summer ministry geared towards the girls who are going into Grade 8 & 9 in the fall.  The focus of this ministry is to build up a group of girls to become strong followers of Christ; girls who know what's beautiful about them and who know that they have a community of support.  Our focus is to show love to the world and recognize that we have a heavenly Father who loves us inside and out.  The program will run twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30 to 9PM beginning on Tuesday, July 6 and concluding on Thursday, August 26.  There will be occasional 'event nights' where a sleep over will take place.  Girls are welcome to come even if they are not able to attend all of the nights scheduled throughout the summer.  The program will take place at Heritage Park Church and the cost for the whole summer is $25.00 per person.  Soul Sisters will be covering topics like self-image, modesty and purity, relationship with parents and many more.  For more information, please contact Jasper Appler at jasperappler@hotmail.com.

Coming this fall - Girls Purity Weekend Retreat - watch the bulletin for details!

Summer LITE for Women: Join us Tuesday or Wednesday evenings for the months of July and August as we meet together for a devotion time, prayer time and to enjoy some fellowship.  These events will be hosted at different homes throughout our community and will be led by Women in our Church.  We offered four studies this summer.  For more information about Summer LITE, please contact Cindy Gietz at cindy@hpac.org

Round the Table:  Join us for a morning of fellowship, spend some time in worship together and listen to some dynamic speakers from our own HPAC family.  Our speaker in September is Sarah Cipkar-Baert.  Please join us September 25th in the Overflow Cafe from 9:30 - 11:30 am.
